According to the 2004 UNAIDS World Report, of the 8 million children in Cameroon in 2003 some 12% (930,000) are orphans for varying reasons.

In this context, our primary focus is centred on providing these children with social protection, as well as support in the form of the renovation and improved operation of several orphanages.

In order to reach these objectives, we have launched a sponsorship programme based on private donations which are sent to these children. This support, which helps to improve the degree of care received by the children, includes the distribution of a series of basic social services (housing, nutrition, schooling and integration), as well as raising awareness of the conditions of the orphaned children in Cameroon.

The Foundation monitors, controls and assesses the correct operation of these centres.
